BirrConnect - Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to BirrConnect, a platform that connects donors with beneficiaries through secure and transparent token-based donations.

By accessing or using BirrConnect's website, mobile application, or services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

To use BirrConnect, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Description of Service

• Donors to fund beneficiaries using tokens.
• Beneficiaries to receive and redeem tokens at approved vendors.
• Vendors to accept tokens in exchange for goods and services.

All transactions are traceable to promote transparency and accountability.

3. Account Registration

Users must register for an account, providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Use of Platform

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Misuse or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use the Platform for fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purposes.

5. Token System

• Donations are converted into digital tokens.
• Tokens are non-transferable and can only be used within the BirrConnect ecosystem.
• Tokens cannot be exchanged for cash unless explicitly allowed under specific programs or partnerships.

6. Fees

BirrConnect may charge administrative or service fees. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and software on BirrConnect are owned by us or our partners. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute them without our written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity that may harm BirrConnect, its users, or its reputation.

9. Disclaimers

• The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available."
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free functionality.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BirrConnect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Terms and Conditions including any question regarding its existence, validity, termination or interpretation that cannot be resolved in good faith by negotiation within 30 days shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798).

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of Ghana. Any reference to applicable law in these Terms and Conditions shall mean applicable law in Ghana.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
